Busy with Life
Hi! It's been awhile since I've been on my website. I have been busy with life.
Life has gotten better now
since I have been taking more time for myself- weight lifting, swimming, socializing with friends and going on dates with
my hubby.
We are swimming in our pool daily. My Pheodora is so much like me and my brother. A true water bug!

to see a friend's band tonight at a watering hole in my old hometown with some girlfriends. Should be fun. celebrating my
bday- it was on Wednesday.
I have been putting together the souvenirs for my twenty year high school reunion. They are
looking fabulous! I will post pictures as soon as they are completed. Everyone is going to want me to do their souvenirs for
their reunions after they see these- believe it!

It's on
Well, it's been over a month since I started working out at the gym and I am already seeing results. My trainer is such
an important factor with my success so far. I still have a lot more to lose but it is definitely on!
Just wish
I had more time to scrapbook but the Girl Scout cookie sale is almost over and I will not be the cookie manager again (I shouldn't
have been this year but other mothers would not do it.). I got stuck doing it AND being Troop leader- totally unfair.
Troop leader is a lot of work but I enjoy it.
Well, after cleaning tomorrow; I plan to scrap my heart out hopefully.

Just doing it!
Well, I have been going to the gym and working out 3-4 times a week for almost a month now. I can't wait to have my measurements
taken on the 1st. The scale isn't seeing a difference so far but I am definitely feeling a difference. I also see more muscle
definition in my legs. I got a lot of weight to lose so my trainer says I have to stick to a diet. He's making me keep a food
journal this week. I will give him my journal next week and he will prepare a meal plan for me. Diet is most important in
weight loss.
I plan to keep up with working out throughout my life- it is so important to my health. I just wish I decided
to do this before. But at least now I am finally just doing it!
BTW- my daughter is selling Girl sCout cookies right
now until March 6th. Let me know if you would like to buy some. They are only $3.50 a box. Thank you!

Snowed in AGAIN!
My youngest daughter turned
2 years old yesterday. I made a cake and we sang happy birthday to her. She loved it. We've received record snowfall here
so we were completely snowed indoors.
It's weird, I feel almost guilty because I did not plan any big party for her. When did birthday
cake, candles, and song become too little for a birthday? LOL We thought we would put money into her bank account instead
bc at two years old; she has everything. Christmas was just around the corner too.
This week I made some pretty valentines using doilies, mini prima
flowers and Stickles. I hope to post a photo later. I mailed them out today.
Last Thursday, my Brownie Troop made Valentine cards for seniors at
a nearby Senior Center. I asked the girls why they think it is important to give seniors valentines- just to make sure they
get the idea behind giving a card. They got it.
I am on my second week of working out at a gym with a personal trainer. I am trying to accomplish this task of getting
healthy this year. Hope it works- it's tough. Nothing worth it, is ever easy. I hope to go to the gym today for a swim.

Out with the Old in with the New- Hopefully!
Hi! Well, it's almost the end of January- the first month of the year and little has changed for me. I think my year will
change when I get more time for myself by placing my youngest daughter in daycare part time so I can have more time to accomplish
more goals for myself. For instance, this year I want to focus more on me and the things I like to do for me. Since
having kids, it has always been about them- no time for me. Now, I schedule time for me. However, I need to start scheduling
time for me to exercise. I know we all say it but I really need to do it. I have gained way too much weight since having my
kids in my late thirties that my body is truly suffering. I hate the way I look now and always loved the way I looked
in the past before having kids. I plan to join a gym with a pool and swim. That is my favorite form of exercise. Love it!
Although, getting in a bathing suit in public with this body presently doesn't sound at all appealing..oh well. I got to do
it. If you don't like it; don't look. lol
well, I hope I can accomplish some of my goals this year by getting in better
physical shape, attending more social functions, and just enjoying life more- rather than feeling like a slave. lol U stay
at home moms know what I am talking about. Don't u?
