Ok, I'm on a role. These card challenges I found yesterday are really getting my creative juices flowing!
This Just
For Fun challenge was to use three colors- orange, olive and rust. Just For Fun is a company I bought a few stamps from at
the StampScrapArt tour in PA. They have really cool designs that you actually can stamp on cards you receive to recycle and
make new cards or to stamp on photos to cut up and put together on pages in different patterns. Pretty cool! However, did
not use their stamps in this challenge.
I actually made a pretty basic card that I think looks pretty nifty. Sometimes
people put too much on a card but when you use an interesting image like I did on this card- less is more. I used a cheetah
stamp from Picture Show stamps, All My Memories paper Artful Design 4, Olive Green StazOn ink around white cardstock, Rubber
Stampede orange dye based ink for cheetah, decorator chalk and want 2 scrap olive pearls. I used pop up tape for under the
white block (with cheetah) to make him pop.
Unfortunately, I am not very computer savvy so the card is actually
in need of being flipped vertically bc I used my mac "photo booth" camera to take the photo. Sorry! So really the
little green pearls are actually to the right of the cheetah when you are viewing the card. I hope Just For Fun doesn't hold
that against me.
Well, I hope you enjoy my card. "It ain't easy being cheesy." Chester Cheetah
Spots
or stripes, you look marvelous! -me
Ok, so I now made a card for another contest- this will be my second card entered in a competition. Wish me luck!
I used Art Gone Wild stamps, Adirondack and Rubber Stampede ink, Doodlebug papers, Atyou Spica clear sparkling marker, Copic
sketch marker- mignonette yg11, decorator chalk, pink cardstock and Michaels ribbon to make the card.
Check out
Wee memories on facebook.

You can pull the oven door open to see the cupcakes! Sparkly paper inside oven.
This is the first time I ever submitted a card to a contest. I hope all goes well. I am submitting my card I made today using
a stamp I bought online (Magenta) and a stamp from Repeat Impressions. Repeat Impressions is holding the contest and they
just so happened to be one of my favorite stamp companies.
I used All My Memories paper for this card-posh design 2,
Kaiser scrapbook rhinestones,Ranger's Adirondack Latte ink and decorating chalk to color the stamped image.
I love
going to the StampScrapArt tours each year to see them. The make n takes each year at this convention are the best because
various stamp companies including Repeat Impressions demonstrate how to use their products. You make a card from each vendor
and eat yummy desserts! What could be better than that?
